Pakistan International Airlines


When Pakistan was founded in 1947 it comprised two territories on either side of the expanse of India. It was in this unusual circumstance that Pakistan International was formed. Despite wars and economic trouble, the carrier survived to grow and prosper. Today it maintains a sizeable international route network, in addition to its services closer to home, with a modern and expanding fleet

British Airways


British Airways has officially confirmed that it has placed a huge order for 12 Airbus A 380s (plus 7 options) + 24 Boeing 787s (plus 18 options). It will decide next year on what aircraft is best suited to replace its large fleet of Boeing 747-400s as it confirms that the A 380s it has ordered is not a direct replacement for their B 744 fleet.
However, it has been confirmed that the 24 B 787s ordered are a direct replacement for its fleet of 21 Boeing 767-300ERs.

Vietnam Airlines


Vietnam Airlines has officially announced that it has placed a multi billion dollar order with Boeing and Airbus recently. The order comprises of 12 Boeing 787-800s + 10 Airbus A 350-900s + 20 Airbus A 320-200s.
The A 359s will be a direct replacement for VN's fleet of 10 B 772ERs and were primarily ordered to enable the airline to fly nonstop trans-pacific flights to USA and Canada with a full payload from its SGN hub.

B757 of Song, the low cost airline formed out of Delta Airlines, since closed down, due to lack of success.


Aegean Airlines


History of the company :Aegean Airlines was founded as Aegean Aviation in 1987. It was originally a VIP/business air operation specializing in executive and air ambulance services. On 17 February 1992, it became the first airline to be issued with a Greek independent air operator's licence. After it was bought by Vasilakis Group in 1994, Aegean Aviation commenced VIP flights from Athens all over the world with wholly owned Learjet aircraft. The Aegean Airlines title was adopted with the start of scheduled passenger services at the end of May 1999. Its first commercial flights were from Athens to Heraklion, Crete and Thessaloniki, Macedonia, with 2 brand new wholly owned BAe 146/RJ100. During 2000 Aegean bought Air-Greece. After an agreement in March 2001 to merge Aegean and Cronus Airlines, it operated for a while as Aegean Cronus Airlines until full integration. Since 2005, the airline is in partenrship with Lufthansa, offering participation to the Miles & More program. Its flights, except from the its A3 code, also have the Lufthansa LH code
